I love music. I will give most anything a listen. Now, as to listening to it twice, that’s a whole ‘nother story.
There is not much on the radio I listen too these days, unless its on XM or something like that.
So when I find something new to me, it’s a happy day.
I found the ethereal sounds of Conjure One over the weekend.
I had never heard of him before, but when I found out that he had collaborated with Poe, I was sold.
I love that girl.
Love her.
Her voice is freakin kryptonite.
One of my secret goals is to get her to do a song on one of my films.
I guess what I am saying is, look up Conjure One on whatever music service you like and give them a listen.
Especially on a rainy day.
Music is a huge part of my creative process. I can’t think of anything that has more inspiration and impact on my creative process, so I thought I would share some of the tunes that keep my imagination active.
I am thinking I am going to make this a regular feature here.
Todays selection comes from the UK.
Some are pretty well known, others pretty obscure, but all have a spot on my playlist.

9. Under Pressure – David Bowie and Queen (Album: Hot Space)
8. Snowden – The Doves (Album: Some Cities)
7. Tales of Endurance (parts 4,5 & 6) – Supergrass (Album: Road to Rouen)
6. Bitter End – Placebo (Album: Sleeping with Ghosts)
5. Map of the Problematique – Muse (Album: Black Holes and Revelations)
4. Lullaby (Extended Mix) – The Cure (Album: Mixed up)

2. Club Montepulciano – Hooverphonic (Album: Blue Wonder Power Milk)
1. Bleeding – Sixpence None the Richer (Album: This Beautiful Mess)
If I was a really good blogger, I would provide links to the samples, or maybe the album on Amazon.
But here we are. I shared, you can do the leg work.
Trust me, it’s well worth it…
